Ecowave Green Trust is a registered Trust that was initiated after the founder’s experience in SWM for a period of 6 years and working with physically challenged & mentally challenged people. Ecowave Green Trust headed by Srikanta TR who worked in the IT industry for 20 years and with vast exposure to waste management who always corrected the IT companies on proper disposal of their waste has come into existence with an interest in the betterment of society. Organisation’s aim is to provide women employment, support the disabled and provide job opportunities, make rag pickers entrepreneurs in India keep in pace with the rest of the society by facilitating best waste management practices reducing landfill and burning Ecowave green trust was established in the year 2021 by Srikanta TR Founder Managing Trustee.
Ecowave green trust works for the empowerment of the ragpickers and the underprivileged through divergent initiatives focusing on waste management, recycling, training, awareness programs, setting up compost units. Provides opportunities to the underprivileged, ragpickers to earn better status in the society. Ecowave green provides a complete solution for waste management by training those people underprivileged women, ragpickers, physically challenged through its community support 250 ragpickers vaccinated, conducted Green Covid camp and distributed cash to the needy and few ration kits too.
Green Covid Camp we raised 6000 Rupees with my son Triambak front-ending the program and distributed the money collected to the underserved, old man auto driver who had no business due to covid, widows having the responsibility of growing kids and running family.
Vaccine drive conducted by Ecowave being a mobilizing partner. We vaccinated 250 ragpickers. Ecowave Recycling Private limited is into PET collection and EPS sales. The company has invested machines to the ragpickers through Ecowave Green trust and is recycling 60000 KGs of Thermocol monthly and saving the burden on the landfill sites, and we have 200tons to 300 tons of PET bottles bailed and sent to recycling industries.
